Thanks man. I didn't really know how lucky I got on this truck tell I started taking it apart.

That's a lot of painting for a rattle can, but it looks great.

Whahoo Progress, got to love it!

To bad you have to work in such shabby conditions.
Yes i am envious!

The front suspension looks a little weak on the passenger side.

Good luck in your quest!

Nice truck you are very fortunate to find both and in such pristine condition. I just picked up a 1957 M250 long box. It's rough but I'll make her shines and new. I say go with a 460, I have one in my 64 and love it. Any way I am subscribing to your thread and will be checking in to see your progress and learn some pointers from you.

Thanks everyone.

I just made a large order this week. TCI Engineering now has almost half my budge. lol

I order the IFS, rear leaf springs, cross member and motor mounts. They tossed in a few other goodies and I'm hoping to have this rolling chassis done before spring.

I didn't do the 5x5.5 rotor upgrade so I'm on the hunt for a set of 5x4.5/5x114.3 wheels.

Good choice, by the time you do a crown Vic swap and rebuild it and make it perfect you'll be into it for $2000 that's Canadian. Wheel choice is way better for the 5x114.3 or 5x4.5, I bought mine from American muscle with rubber for $1700 I believe and I love them.

Until I get closer to the end of the build I might just put some cheap steels on it.

So yesterday I pulled the old front straight axle off and started thinking through what my next step will be.

Step one weld in the box plates.
