Hello and I have 1993 F150, 5.8, Extended Cab, EOD transmission and 193K mile. I have been reading up on a few issues I have been having. This site is GREAT. When I got the truck it ran ok, not great but ok. I got it for a good price. The body is in good shape. The gas gauge did not work at all. Replaced it with a junkyard one and the back tank works, but not the front. The major problem I was having is it would bog pretty bad when you got on it. If I switched tanks it would run fine for awhile then it would go back to bogging down again. I did a tune up, changed the FPR, and that helped some. But still it was bogging. After reading on here and some investigation. I put a new fuel pump assembly in the rear tank. Since it was the easiest one to get to. Not fun doing it by yourself, but it is done. Now it runs great, no bogging. Next is to do the front tank.
