Great pictures! Wood duck, the most colorful bird in North America. They used to come every fall to my parents place with a small lake in East Texas every year. They are beautiful.

Looks like you've got a drainage problem in your yard!

Just kidding.

That first picture looks so colorful and bright almost looks fake or like plastic? Guess i have never seen a wood duck before. Cool back yard!

Nice, very nice. I've done a lot of duck carvings, and woodies are one of my favorites.

After the winter we had across the north it's good to see open water and some beautiful ducks back in the area

When I was working up in Walker,MN one spring the homeowner had a woodduck house in one of his trees. Mama duck would fly 80 miles an hour straight to the hole in the front and never back peddled till about 10 feet from the hole. She never missed either. Totally awesome.
