Sometimes you can ship with greyhound. you just have to pick it up at the bus station.

 

I've never heard of that - would be a good option though since Greyhound has a stop in my town. Seats would be a tough thing to do that with, though.

 

yeah, seats may be too big for that.

 

Yeah, I was going to have some parts shipped from Oregon, but freakin' Greyhound doesn't come through here anymore! I think there is another busline, but the connections would have been a mess.

 

weird that greyhound doesn't go everywhere anymore. just a changing world. no one wants to take that long to go from one place to another.

 

I suppose it has nothing to do with the fact that going by bus...um..sucks!!LOL

I took a bus from Rawlins, Wyoming, back here to Omaha. Felt like it took 6 weeks!

 

yeah. i took one from kansas city to philly back in the day. met some VERY interesting characters. it does suck.

 

Now, if I didn't care about time, the train is the way to go. I've taken that a few times. Handy have a bar car!!LOL

 

I agree. I took the Acela (the high speed train) from Wilmington to Boston and rode in the first class car. they just plied me with booze. And I met Joe Biden on the way back.

 

We went from San Fransico, back to Omaha. Had a sleeping room and everything. It was really cool going through some of Utah and Wyoming, especially if you could get a seat in the scenic view car, it had a raise section of seats, and a veiwing section where you could see out windows on top of the traincar.

Yep, a number of years ago, I had a door and fender shipped through Greyhound. I met the bus in the Wilmington terminal and unloaded my freight from underneath.
