Spring 2015 General BS Thread

Spent the day yesterday with FTE brother ubereal2(Bob). We had a great time in a fantastic setting. It doesn't get any better than this. We really enjoyed the fellowship and fishing. It's nice that we only live about 5 miles from each other. I guess you could call this our version of working on the Ex...lol.
It would also be nice if we could have a NC Chapter fishing GTG for those that like to fish.

Looks like a good time, Marty.
Bob wasn't smoking any meat while you two fished?
Hey Bob, I tried something new today on the grill. Beef country style ribs. I've done pork country style before but not beef. Came out really good.
Finished off with KC Masterpiece too.

That fishing trip was well needed. We had a blast, and even caught a few fish.
Nah, Tony I haven't had a smoker out there yet, not to say it couldn't happen at some point.
I'm a huge fan of the pork country style ribs, haven't tried them in beef at all. And you can't go wrong with that KC Masterpiece sauce. That original is my favorite.

Hope everyone is having a decent weekend. I changed the oil in the bike yesterday and cleaned out a pre oil pump filter screen on it....
Not completely sure what it is but it's not sludge. I cut open a oil filter material feels the same but this stuff is thicker. Some people said timing chain guide, but if the timing chain was loose enough to eat that much guides I believe I would hear it.....

WFMY mentioned this in a newscast a few years ago: in NC it is mandatory to NOT use turn signals when changing direction or turning

77 , I think the bike needs further attention. Probably good you caught it now. Metal or nylon particles?

No metal, it's definitely some kind of fabric. Bike is running great good oil pressure and so on. Really think it's something someone dropped in it at some point and time. I posted it on a vulcan forum and alot of people have found strange things including zip ties. Seems alot of people have found very similar material in there's snd have put 20,000+ miles on it since finding it and still running strong. Since there are no funny noises and I'm still running great I'm just gonna roll with it. It's pretty obvious it's been there awhile so I'm not real concerned with it.

Quit again!
Well Tim did have his car running, and it was sounding great, not even a tick to it.
Now it's down again, we have pressure at the fuel rail, we have spark, and testing with my noid lights we found out that the injectors are not pulsing.
We've already swapped out the computer with one from a salvage yard (Tho it no gaurantee it was good) and now looking for a replacement MFI relay. So far we're finding them on line only, and a new one is $106 and still no garauntee that is the problem
