Local cruisers here had their first one here last night, but it was raining. We're still cleaning up from the ice storm, so I'm sure not many showed up.

I consider it to be April first, but if there wasnt still a foot of snow in front of my garage doors I would already be cruisin. Sun is out and is it melting fast, just not fast enough!

ok, south no problem. sounds like the midwest and north west benefited by the jet stream. we still have about a foot of snow left on the ground and highs this week just getting into the 40's. we like to wait until the salt gets washed off the roads a couple times. my earliest has been april 1. the winter (spring and summer) we redid the body work on my truck my season started september 18. i usually drive it until mid november.

We have had such a mild winter here, but it sounds like the east coast got all of our snow as well as their own. It's been above freezing for weeks, it's great

The regular cruise-in's and car shows start here in JUNE.

The first shows of the season is usually mid-May but they often get weathered-out or have low turn outs due to 50-degrees and windy.
From Father's Day to Labor Day is our season. Before and after that it's just not outdoor event friendly.

40 today, cloudy, damp in upstate NY. there was a swap meet, 90% indoors, at a small car dealership: showroom and service garage. there was a big crowd just so people could get out and look at, think about car stuff. got my truck moved from the winter storage tent, down the hill, across the yard on to pavement, avoiding the spring mud season. ready for warm up. all we need is the warm weather.

It's been pretty mild here this year in the Far North, so our season should start a bit early.....maybe June 1st! Here a fresh shot of the thermometer. Notice today's low.

Yes it's says -34,and the high was +6.

Haven't fired the grill up for a bit......

I wasn't kidding about the mild year this year, and last year was nice as well. We are suppose to be in the +30's and sunny this coming week for highs, so that will be even nicer. You guys in the south west can get a little led out for me though, just be sure to think of me and Arctic Y while you're cruising! Keep on truckin fellas!

Cruisin season is year-round here in Southern Nevada. They only time you don't see guys driving their classic cars is when it rains, which is pretty rare. I never put the truck away for "storage" anymore like we did in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Car shows are another story, not year-round here. We just had our first local big show of the year March 14th. No shows in July/August because of the heat, then a lot in the Fall until November. So March-July, and then September to November, much shorter show season than I had expected.

Well the fast food joint car shows start about April 1, so we're pretty much there. @#$%^&*#$% rain is usually the real problem.
