Hi everyone I have a 05 ex cab f250. The bottom are my doors are going bad with rust and so are my inner rocker panels causing my running boards to get soggy. I know it's pretty easy to get the doors patched and cleaned up, but I'm not too sure about the inner rocker panels. Is anyone familiar with this repair? Thanks
Yes...it's all very doable in most cases...physically supporting the vehicle is #1 making sure everything is straight, level & square before you cut.....check out you tube...there should be a good body shop showing their "skills" giving you an idea of what is really involved.
You can get the rocker panels from Ford they run $15 to $20 more then the stuff from china. I'm getting ready to do my drivers side once the weather gets warm again.
