well we had a good little mimi GTG .. spent a few hours at the yard snatching a few parts for alan and jeff..they dropped of my new treasure ..ha ha ha ha .. then we came back to my shack and worked like dogs getting the 63 1/2 galaxie loaded up.. jeff looked at his new treasure ..again ha ha ha ha .. i hope they make it back to sparta without any problems... was a good day ..

Evening All!

We got back a little while ago. Everything is unloaded and safe. Alice is a mess. Those back roads in Ozark county are not very nice today. We even had to stop and pull a tree limb out of one of the low water crossings so we could get past. She's definitely getting a bath tomorrow.

My neighbors hooked up the fork lift and carefully backed the car off the trailer. It was SO much easier to get it off the trailer than it was to put it on.

Yeah, I have a "shop phone". It is on from opening to closing. THAT'S. IT.

 

We are back safe and sound, Alice performed flawlessly. Great trip as far as parts and fun. I got a great set of door panels for the new 79.

We had some fun loading and unloading and again and again. That last one almost was a doozy

 

Not even touched as far as cleaned. My grandpa's explorer had a brown interior. I'm very happy with them.


Got the box of bolts and stuff in the mail today...glad for that. Package said 10 lbs

 

Had a great time today, I needed a car day

good morning missouri... dont know what i will get done today.. i can hear the rain pounding on the roof already.. jeff it was good to have ya;ll come down and give me a break from my usual day.. it is always fun watching others work.....

hard to load the car on the trailer!!!!... i thought it went fairly smooth .. but i guess if you are used to loading new cars that roll easy onto a new trailer with a working winch.. it may of seemed hard to load a little older car that did want to leave onto a trailer that did not want to take it..ha ha ha ha

 

Maybe the car just wanted to stay with you RC? Forgot this pic last night!!!
