Hi Sunshine. I was going to tarp the trailer - even bought a new tarp. Came up from VA, unloaded it, parked it, then came the white stuff and cold. First storm put almost a foot of snow on it.

Yeah, first one caught me unprepared too. Forgot to put on the battery tender, and forgot to plug in the block heater.
Forgot to move it close to the garage so it could be conveniant.
Soooooooooo
first storm this year was spent taking the sides off with the boom down so I could almost get to the battery terminals to charge it..... with 200' cord, in the snow..... While snowing it's **** off..........
It sits in front of the garage now.....Plugged in!!!!!

I tried to send it South, Steve. But.....
Inaccuweather says "snow will start in 118 minutes" Don't think this stuff coming down now is bird crap. At least I hope it isn't.

190 inches and more falling makes me upset. When snowbanks are taller than the plows it is time to move. I own a landscape company and his crap means it well be may before I get back to work......all the plow trucks are down.. Parts on order...god I will love to park them fr the summer.....

Hi Ranger. Gotta love NY weather.
I was in Port Leyden once when the snow along Rt 12 was almost up to the power pole cross ties.

I am up here from az, lived in WNY for 15 years.....I remember now why I left. This winter was the worst one I remember. November's 8 feet of snow is enough to drive anyone insane. Thanks for the welcome!

My brother retired from Erie County a few years ago. Goes down to Florida for the Winter. He says if he "has to wear long pants for 3 days in a row. he's out of NY and heading South."
There are quite a few on FTE from the Buffalo area that went South.

Hey Ranger, you may well be smart, but I question your judgement moving into this stuff. This truly is the worst I can remember as well. My grandkids in KY were even snowed into there place for a week this year. Earlier this year I did a lot of landscaping along the edges of the driveway and such with the plow. I have even put in a couple new flower beds out in the yard but won't really know how good they look 'till the snow melts. HaHa!
