Power Service is what I use. It seems to be good stuff and you can buy it cheap by the gallon at the local Rural King or Walmart.

Hey man, I use Power service Diesel Clean as well. White bottle is the arctic formula, so it has anti-gelling stuff. The grey is just to clean and add lube to the fuel. ultra low sulfur diesel does not lube injectors. That being said, I'm on Long Island where we haven't seen a day (maybe 1) over 20 degrees since January. Some days were single digit temps. I have not used any fuel additives in that time period (reason still unknown), but have not had any fuel related issues. Does the pump fuel have anti gel for the winter?,don't know. In any case, it runs better and a bit quieter with the diesel clean in it. I'm gonna get some on the way home. Thanks for reminding me.

With the gray bottle I pour about 1/4 full in a 20oz pop bottle and top it off with 2 cycle oil. I put this 20oz in each 19 gallon tank if empty. Helps lube and clean the injectors, also helps keep them quite.

^^^^^ Very similar here. I make a slurry of one part PS white-bottle, three parts ASHLESS (marine) two-cycle oil. One ounce (or a shade over) per gallon. White bottle all year, just because any one of the trucks could sit for months not being driven.

Company called Mag-1 has a cheap marine two-cycle oil. I read somewhere it's the same stuff Mall-Wart sells under their brand. Shipped free on Amazon and you don't have to hold your nose and venture into the human-zoo (Mall-Wart).

What do you guys think about that optilube summer blend vs DK and ashless 2 smoke? I may be wrong but the mag 1 stuff I found on amazon was EXPENSIVE!!! Worth the trip to Walmart for 11$ a gallon supertech stuff.

Found this a while back and thought it was interesting...Lubricity Additive Study Results - Diesel Place : Chevrolet and GMC Diesel Truck Forums

I got the Mag 1 for about $15 a gallon, and the WM stuff is $12+ here. Worth the $3 for me, not to have to set foot in the tenth circle.....

Hi Glenn, 2 things. I was never certain about the capacity of my tanks. '97 F250HD long bed extra cab, are they 19 gal each? or did you mod? What about the 2 cycle oil, did it ever mess up injectors? I'm curious how many miles on your PSD' s and how long you've been using 2 cycle. Geeze, thats more than 2 things aint it ??

I put in a 38 gallon rear tank, normal front tank and in between my 5th wheel hitch and tool box I have a 33 gallon tank. So, when full I can carry 90 gallons. I have almost 200K miles on both my PSD's and have used two cycle oil for a long time. They will not mess up the injectors, it helps them if anything. Its sorta a pain to mix and pour in the bottles but I do anyway.
