so i have been doing some reading, and havent found anyone ask about what im getting from my truck. The truck fires up idles great plenty of power, great acceleration. in what i would call from my snowmobiling terminology a backshift, it hesitates. i will be driving down the road, usually under slight acceleration, let off to gas to coast for a couple seconds, then get on the throttle, anything past where my foot currently was it will hesistate for a second then take off to where i would expect. if i went to WOT from coast it would really hesitate, it would like think for a second then take off like a ____ date. it only hesitates on back shift. i was thinking vct solenoids, but from what i read that would mess with idling. from my readings cam phasers would be more prevelant. unless its the beguinnings of something.... any thoughts?
