i have a 2005 xlt 4x4 scab with a 2.5 with leveling kit and i am looking into buying a set of mb tko rims 18x9 +25 offset and would like to put on toyo mt 285/70/18 (34x11.5)or stay with my mb tko rims 17x8.5 +25 offset and put 285/75/17 mt's on, would these fit with that offset without cutting or any rubbing

 

I have seen a ton of factory rims with big tires without rub and cut

 

Anyone have any advice on this

 

I own a 2004 FX4...has a leveling kit...I have a set of 295/70/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers on stock rims, right at 34" tall. They will rub if you turn as tight as you can.

They look good.

 

that size should fit well with that much wheel backspacing. i'm running 275/70/18 on stock wheels under a 2" kit and i have miles of room.

 

For the guys that run the 285/75r18 on stock 18s I know they stick out the finders 1/2 to 1/4 of a in or what not. Do you guys get Rick chips from the tires down the body?
