Get a real tow strap, the kind that stretches, the kind that doesn't have hooks on the end, rather a loop. You will never use a chain again.
Don't use a hitch. Just shove the loop into the receiver and run the pin through the loop. Not suggested for tugging at an angle, but much simpler when just towing someone.

For that size, my local marine supply sells them for $5 or so. I think they're rated for 8k lb.
The ones I buy from McMaster that are the same size, but rated for lifting, are $50 and up.

I received my pneumatic tire bead tool today. Looks well made. I put 100PSI in it a few times and played around with it. A length of PVC could make a nice potato cannon......
I welded a handle on an old small floor jack to keep in the tool box. Will be much easier to use than the factory jack in case of a flat.
It had been out in my barn for close to 20 years. I tested it and it lifts the truck fine.
My left rear tire was slack this morning. I found a nail it it. Must have picked it up yesterday when I was driving around on the ice. Plugged it.
I hope to start tank swap this weekend. Gonna be 11 deg here in the morning and 3 deg Fri morning but back to 38 Saturday.

That is clean man.
I plan to take my deck to the guy who blasted my wheels and have it blasted and painted. He is a JD enthusiast and has restored a few. He has the right paint and can do it quicker and better than I can. It has some missing paint and surface rust, need to nip it in the bud.

Yeah, I am investigating lights. Quality halogen probably. HID is still $$$$ and LED is $$$$ too.
Old school KC Daylighter 130W last forever, look good and are bright.
Halogens pull a lot of juice so good relay and wiring and maybe a 130A alternator (which was on the list anyway) will be in order. If I could find some reasonable HID off road lamps I would maybe spend more, they put out incredible light and pull a lot less amps.
I plan to do the headlight relay mod too and put some good backup lamps in the rear bumper (cut holes and mount) Seeing is important LOL
Next tubing project is full length sliders. That's why I have not painted the steps that are on Brutus now, I can sell them later better as they are. Those steps are expensive new.
Then maybe a rear glass protector/headache rack in front of the tool box. I need a place to mount my antenna, the double wall roof makes a standard through the roof mount impractical.
The truck is mostly done. All the reliability things are complete, I would drive it anywhere. Lots of little "wants" and projects left but all of that stuff is just icing.
I would say in no particular order:
1-Tach cluster (Steve from FTE meeting me this week to sell me one for cheap, he is a good guy who I hope to get to know better)
2-Install the Bronco tank
3-Lighting
4-HL relay mod
5-130A alternator
6-Saginaw PS pump
7-Tubing projects
8-Front receiver hitch
9-Fix bouncing speedo
10-'87-91 tailgate
11-New stereo and speakers
12-Lockers
13-RSK
And other little things. Will take a while to do it all but that's part of the fun.

If you mean light bars then yes but my lights on the front got just as good of reviews as rigids and at a fraction of the cost. $65 for four.
And thanks I love my reverse lights. The mean side of me wants to wire them up to a toggle switch as well for when people are tailgating me, just flash them real quick lol. But I don't want to cause an accident by blinding them. They are around 3,000 lumens apiece.
I can see up to 400yards clearly with just the front lights.
