The drive shaft that came with the axle didn't have the 3 u joints but maybe who ever had it before me took that part off ... Luckily I have a transfer case from a powerstroke that came with that 3rd part of the drive shaft so I should beanie to put it on the drive shaft that came with the axle correct ?

Only if it is off the correct year truck. A 1356 yoke is what you need. 4407 will NOT work for you
