Does anyone make REAR supercab replacement steel - mounts and floor

Tons of front pans/mounts...etc available. (obviously been that way for years)

I need to replace the rear mount crossmember and floor pan in my 78 Supercab.

Anyone know if this will work for supercab mounts? (not sure the difference between supercab and std cab crossmembers....)

I thought I read on here somewhere that 78/79 bronco was the same as the pickup in the supercab rear seat area. Hopefully someone with way more knowledge that I will post up soon.

Got the crossmember and it is not even close to being what I need.

My truck needs the rear floor pans replaced and the rear crossmember. I checked Broncograveyard and LMC and did a google search.

I am striking out. Before I have some pieces bent up, does anyone else have any ideas on what company to check with?

Any help is appreciated.

I prototype all that kinda stuff in my shop. I can put floors and braces in it for you, but you have to get it out to Missouri. Sorry I don't have a better answer.

What gauge metal can your brake handle?

Too bad you don't already own a supercab - could make the pieces and then send them to me.

I just did - pretty much the same stuff as everyone else.

Nothing for the rear floor support for a supercab or even a std cab for that matter.

Front floor pans and cab supports all day - nothing for the rear.

I was thinking the vertical piece between the floor and bottom of rear window might work for replacing the floor sheetmetal, cut it out of a donor cab and weld in to floor?

The floor is pretty well just flat sheetmetal - didn't measure it but thinking about 18 gauge. There is a crossmember that runs the width of the cab similiar to a bed crossmember that I was hoping to locate. It's not a hard piece to have fabricated if the brake can handle it, however a repop piece would be faster.

I use 18 gauge for all repair panels. .....unless the pieces handle strain or loads. ie: firewall behind the master cylinder, cab mounts, etc., ....then I use 14 gauge. The panels you buy are 20 or 22 gauge which I wouldn't use to repair a pie plate.

Thanks Alan - I wish you had a supercab to use as a template and send me the pieces.

BTW - since there is really no aftermarket panels out there for the rear part of the cabs for std, super, or crew - maybe a good business venture for you?

Your metal work skills look great.

I will be the guinea pig for the supercab stuff.

I'm actually looking in to it. I try to gather as many OE parts as I can. (they fit the best) But build my own replacement parts for rust repair. I just can't stand the aftermarket stuff.

If anybody in my area wants to drop off a crew or super cab so I can make some patterns, I would be grateful.
