E450 6.8 l 10v head block replacement? with engine on or off?
to make a long story short, spark #3 blew off, I paid a shop in Clearwater to do it and they failed, so it seems that now I have to replaced the cyl head completely.
my question can that achieve with engine on the truck or the engine has come off?
Inserts would not work, so that's is not an option.
is there is a link to show me step by step how to do it with engine on? or the worst case scenario how to remove the all engine off?
it's the passenger bank that needs to be replaced, I could rent the hoist. but I rather work with the engine on it would be less invasive!
also any online shops to buy the repair kit, that includes all parts needed to replace it right cylinder bank!
I would appreciate your inputs it's a motorhome with a ford chassis.
tks
