64 F100 clutch

Hi, I'm new here and was wondering if the 64 F100 came with a Hyd. clutch set up, I've got a lead on a bell housing from one, and was wondering if it would work on my 59 Mercury M100 with a 292 Y block.
thanks,

I don't believe any 1961-1966 F100 offered a hydraulic clutch mechanism. It was all linkage.

1957/60 F/M100/950's have a hydraulic clutch, but no F/M100 after 1960 came with it.

Hydraulic clutches reintroduced in 1983 F250/350's with 460's and 6.9L diesels.

All other F150/350's & Bronco's got a hydraulic clutch in 1984. F100 cancelled at the end of the 1983 model run.

Be aware that all the 1957/60 hydraulic clutch parts are obsolete, getting very hard to find NOS

The hose (7A512 in pic) that routes from the clutch master cylinder to the clutch slave cylinder is non existant!

FTE member: Col Flashman (posts in the 1957/60 forum) has a 1958 M100.

I've seen it in person as he lives about 15 miles east of me, it has a swapped in 300 I-6 & Toyota P/S.

He also has a 1958 M100 panel, but AFAIK, it's still located where he bought it...in Alberta.

I think you're asking if the bellhousing is the same. Yes, the bellhousing from a '61-'64 will have the mount for the hydraulic cylinder although it did not use a hydraulic clutch.
