I haven't used one, but here is the Blendmount site for F-350's

The blendmounts look like **** and are WAY too obvious.... in the F150 there was a smaller gap between the mirror and headliner. Using the supplied visor mount I was able to get the clip above the headliner so that it rested in that space....yeah it was visible but barely. The gap in the F250 is about 3 inches larger than the one in the F150, so I can't go that route.
I want inconspicuous since they're "illegal" on post, plus if I happen to be in some crappy area I don't want to have to disconnect it and hide it.
I'm thinking about making use of the sun glass holder in the overhead console, just wondering if anyone else has another idea.

Where it shines is that it smells out the HP trick of 2 HP cars out on the Hwy.
Not sure why you need to hide it I have never hidden mine and remember the V-1 has to have a clear view to the REAR and front to work for you.

I run a V-1, have since 1990, saved me $$$$$$$$, especially when I was dating my wife, her in Miami, me in Dallas. Had a Z06 Corvette and I would pull out of Dallas, turn the V-1 on max boggie for the next 1500+ miles. I could avg between 82-85 mph. You got to roll hard to do that.

I've heard of people mounting these in the headrest, which still allows radar detection to function, but not laser. Then again, if you get hit by LIDAR you're screwed anyway so it doesn't really matter.

They're supposedly illegal on post, but that mostly depends on the gate guard you encounter on the way in. I just don't want it obvious at all...as concealed as possible for the reasons stated in my earlier post.

I never got a ticket on post, just figured drop it in low and let it idle most of the time.
I have found over the years that MP's that work traffic on post qualify for being JERKS. Never got a ticket but got pulled over constantly and have had more MP cars around me that if I had screaming some radical Islam chant.
Had a '59 MG A with Alum body. I was backing into my garage and the door latch did not work well, door swung open and got peeled off. So drove it sans door till I got it fixed. Must have got stopped by ever MP on post and listened to them call in to HQ trying to find the "law against driving without a door" (there is none) after the upteenth time the OD at MP HQ sent a msg to all MP there is no law against driving without a door, leave the guy alone.
And numerous other stops from some MP knowing there MUST be a law against it....

I have been using Escort Radar detectors for a LONG time
They have saved me too many times to count over the years
I just purchased the Escort Live edition which has real time updates for speed traps & camera's. It's not Illegal here in CT. so no need to hide it.
I am a Escort user for Life!
Anyone looking to get a detector should look at one of there products

Yeah I used to use Escort....that's what my family has always used. I ran both an X50 and V1 side by side for a while because the V1 went on sale (about $100 off)....ended up keeping the V1 and returned the X50. My father still swears by them though.....still runs his almost 15 year old cordless Escort. I just like having the direction finder and the bogey counter....it's saved my *** sooooo many times.

That's where I used to put mine in the 150, but there was not as much as a gap as there is on the 250. I used the visor mount, with the clip over the headliner....the detector (err..locator as I had to explain to gate guard on post) "sat" on top of the mirror and blended nicely between the mirror, headliner, and "sunshade" sprayed on to the glass.
