With about a third of our anticipated members out for this run, do we want to consider rescheduling? I'm not looking to wreck anyone's current plans for next weekend, just throwing that out there.
I know that I could benefit from waiting another month since I'll have several more parts replaced on the YJ and then have it close to wheelable. But I also know that May is typically a busy month for many because of graduations and the start of summer.
Thoughts?

At this point I am just planning to Shoot and maybe Camp. Green is my daily driver and not going to see any road trips or wheeling in the near future. I am not at a point to road trip Jr. now either. I have a new car that I plan to drive up. Waiting a month would only reduce the chance that I will camp. Green, Jr. and I are cool weather type outdoor active. Heat creates problems we do not like.

Bought this one from the new ShopKo on sale for $99
I was really happy with it, by far the quickest tent I have ever setup and it even fit back in the original bag when I took it down. Bottom was thick, much more spacious\taller then I thought, was able to fit Mason and I as well as a end table and 32" TV (I know, we like to rough it in the backyard )
Only thing I haven't tested was water-resistance but overall am pretty happy with it.
We're still in the air about making it this weekend, if there won't be many rigs going along we may just go out to the pond and camp and wait for a bigger event or possibly take the YJ out next time.

I'm a maybe for another few days Maybe a maybe up till time to leave. Weather forecast had rain Friday AM and then 20% on Saturday. Now it has rain 80% on Friday morning and night then 60% on Saturday with showers in the AM developing into steady rain in the afternoon.
Not wheeling weather in the off road park if that holds out. And not sure about the range either. Bout all that would be left is keeping wood dry for a campfire in between rain showers and packing up a wet tent to take home.
Just have to wait and see what the weather man says.

K, I went through some of my shootin stuff and cided on a mini, an AR, the 51 Colt .38 cartridge conversion revolver, a S&W .40, a Sig .40 Sub Compact, a .45 Compact X-Change for the Sig, a 51 colt C&B (just for comparison not sure I will shot it unless someone requests to do so).
Weather......... looks like 90% on Saturday and Saturday evening. Sunday looks like maybe doable with just 20%. If it clears a bit earlier and Saturday evening looks ok I think I'll try to come up and camp Saturday evening. Then shoot on Sunday. If the forecast holds I can drive up Sunday morning and shoot Sunday. Just have to wait an see how the forecast plays out.
Del, what is the range policy for rain? I know the shootin area is covered but I don't want to carry my gear in the rain or set/reset targets in the rain.

I think the range would be open unless we get downpours or stormy weather with a bunch of lighting or serious threats.
If it isn't a mud hole, I might be game for camping saturday evening if it isn't raining. I'm just getting over a chest cold so don't feel much like sleeping wet and cold.
