I got the call, and my motor is ready at the machine shop. They are a week earlier than expected.

 

Wahoo! Thats good news Greg, with your school work finished you will have a little more time to stick that engine in. Then get a little drive on it and see how she runs.

 

It will still be swapped on President's Day weekend. I will have 4 days that that it won't be needed for transport. I am very eager, but want to take my time and make sure it is done properly. I will pick it up later this week and get started on assembly. I have to make some room for it so I can keep it organized and clean.

 

Organized and clean is overrated lol, mine turned out just fine...

Don't worry you will still get plenty dirty when you help me with the swap

 

This is true, that thing is dirty, oily mess!
Better get a couple of gallons of degreaser for the engine bay
