Woke up to fresh snow...on my floor. Should of known better than to leave my window open. That 60 degree weather spoiled me.
It has been quite some time since I have been on this site. I figured I would ask you guys before I looked elsewhere.
Here in buffalo sits a 1975 f250, 2 wheel drive, supercab, xlt ranger with all the chrome and some period aftermarket chrome too, camper special, with a 460 and a c6.
Passenger side of the box behind the wheel well is rotted out and so it the passenger side fender. It hasn't been registered since the mid 90's.
It has been parked right where it is as long as I can remember ( I am only 23). It is right next to my best friends house and I can remember riding my bike past it at least once a week so there is a weird sentimental connection.
Either the engine or trans is wrecked it almost has to be, given that there is not exactly a plethora of 75 supercabs on the market and even fewer totally unmolested bone stock ones I have not been able to figure out what it is worth. after much digging I found out who the owner is but 2 wheel drive is an oddity around here so getting a regional price point is very difficult, I will get some pictures off work by the way.
So very long story short, how much should I pay for it?

Yep...........not worth much more than removing it. 2x4 in this region makes a good truck not worth much.

I really appreciate it guys, thank you. there is a just the cab off the super cab on Craigslist and they are asking 500 but that dosnt mean that is what it will sell for.
Due to going to college for quite some time in sheridan, getting married and divorced, a knee surgery last August and another about 3 weeks ago my last few years have been busy for the lack of a better term.
I had no idea what the market was like anymore. Thanks guys, I will see what I can do for this truck.
It would be a very long term project. When things dry up i will get some shots of the cab, it is decent. My first step would be road worthy sort of a muscle truck.
I enjoy the look of the truck as is, rust is the new black.
I am really drawn to the truck, I like the colors and the history of the owner.
thank you guys again for your input and your time.

Good morning Wyoming! Stuck here at work today. Raider, not a bad looking rig. One other thing to consider: the rear suspension on that truck is probably toast, from sitting with that camper on it for so long. It'll probably need new springs, so you can use that as a negotiating point. Otherwise, not a bad looking truck. Too bad it's not a 4x4, but it probably wouldn't still be sitting there if it was!
