So, I just got a call from the wife, very upset. I guess my stepson was taken to the office for having a bottle of Ibuprophen in his backpack, and offering some to a kid with a sore back. Intially, they were going to suspend him for 5 days for that! Somebody's common sense kicked in, and made that into an afterschool suspension. I guess the assistant principle up there treated him like he was distributing cocaine. She is supposed to call the wife. I told Connie to tell her "We understand that he shouldn't have done that, offering them to another student, or that he shouldn't have them, which we didn't know before. And we realize you have a zero tolerance policy. But, you also need to use a shred of common sense when dealing with things like this.".

Most of them are anymore Pat. The take something that is an easy mistake and have to blow it out of the water.

Yeah. Gone are the days of common sense to take care of issues. Like the pop tart incident awhile back here in MD.

Good afternoon Nebraska and visitors! TGIF.
Started out at -14 this morning... It's still winter if anyone has any doubts...
Sorry to hear of the school drama Pat... We've gone so far on stupid little things nowadays... I sent some DayQuil gelcaps with my daughter a couple weeks ago, told her to make sure the office knew they were hers and not to share.

Afternoon Rob. I was wondering where you were at. He knows now not to take anything to school, unless we clear it with school first. Still irriatates me, though
Are you guys supposed to get dumped on tomorrow also?
