Don't forget to take plenty of pics. They come in handy when something you knew you wouldn't forget becomes vague on reassembly. Been there, done that.

I have too. I plan on taking lots and documenting in this tread. Will add the links from other threads as well to keep it so all will be in one thread.

Excited and scared is a good way to put it, I'm the same way with my truck.

Attention to detail goes a long way in my opinion. I'm **** about how my truck gets worked on. I guess that's why it takes my 3x as long to get a job done.

Yep. I've been going over everything and time wise it's not going to be too bad. The time consuming part will be having to run to the parts dtore for tools or stuff that's broken or things that just don't want to come loose. If I don't have all of those things I think I can get in done in a day but I'm not going to rush it.

That's the right attitude, and wait for the beers til AFTER the job is done for the day. That way you don't have to worry later down the line.

So far nor too bad for 2 hours (least for me) only two problems. 1 the wire loom holder over the turbo was so brittle all of the tabs broke. 2 one bolt on the intake tube the head is stripped. Taking a break right now will start on the rest in a bit.

Turbo is out. Bolts were easy when I got to them lol. 6 hours of work just to get that puppy out. I'm done for today.

Flip the turbo inlet marmon clamp over, makes it easier when it points forward instead of backwards.

Good job

Your back and legs hurt yet? Standing on a stool, tow hooks and kneeling on the radiator support is not fun.

Cleaning the turbo is not a bad job, I was nervous about it but once in there it is fairly easy.

Good job!
