Nice '65 on Ebay

Hey Fellas,
Nice old '65 on Ebay. I wish mine was a 4 on the floor. What do you think?

Nice truck, but what a douche bag selling it.

He really thinks this truck has 102,000 miles on it?

Nice deal for a shorty if it goes for about $6000 and truly has no rust. However, it would be cheaper if you were to avoid this speculator and find a truck like it with a similar history owned by someone who wants fair return not big profit.

In the 60s people didn't buy base model work trucks to park them and forget about them.

Do you believe that in 50 years this truck racked up only 2040 miles a year?

Even if it was parked for half its life, that's still only 4080 miles a year.

As with anything, if you cant prove it, it didn't happen, otherwise my 65 Mustang only has 40,000 miles on it.

Do not believe the miles show on odometers, because...

Prior to 1992, the odometers read to 99999.9 then return to ZERO!

Well my truck does have only 32K Original miles on it, no the odometer has not made its way around. It is a 64; sure it is a 350, but it was a custom cab with all the bells and whistles. So mine only accrued only 640 miles per year for the last 50 years... pretty impressive. I have a mileage odometer certified reading in 1977 with 22K miles on it and another one from 1992 with 27K miles on it, so I believe this truck could easily have 102K miles, just my 2cents.

Not saying they aren't out there. I am saying that I don't believe this is one of them.

I would pay 7k for this truck, I think its worth that to someone who wants one.

When I bought my '65 the odometer reflected 63,xxx miles... uh yeah!

More like 163,xxx or 263,xxx.

It's all good.
