Whats your current Hoosier truck project?

I thought about that, but being a pressurized AC line I figured I'd just swap it out to be sure it doesn't leak. I'm also going to put some rubber coverings on the braided oil lines that ate through the AC lines.

Drove 3 hours into MI today to check out a 76 Bronco. New engine, lots of brand new parts in the box....the bodywork needed ran me off. Wasn't horrible but lots of pesky stuff to weld in. Plus it was in pieces.
I think 3 is enough....kinda. I'm vowing not to look at trucks on CL for a month.

Over the holiday weekend my father in law helped me make a little headway on my truck. Got the pesky remaining bolt out from my old shock, so I was able to install the final rear shock. Then we set out to replace the brake line that got damaged when I was working on it last. I had bought all new pre-bent brake lines, so this should've been easy. But of course nothing ever is on my truck! Ended up breaking the axel vent (which is also the mount for the connection between the rear flexible line with the left and right hard lines) as well as damaging other hard lines (they were all so rusty!). Ended up replacing everything in the rear all the way up to the RABS module under the drivers door. It all needed doing at some point, I just wasn't planning to do it at that time. I'll finish up the front hard lines soon.
Anyway, after getting the brakes bled I was finally able to drive the truck again! Woo hoo!! On Monday I got new tires installed and then dropped it off for an alignment.
Loads more work to do, but it's nice to have it drivable again!

Working on insulating the van. Put 2-3 layers of rubberized roofing and then a layer of carpet pad under the carpet.
Then used some of this
To do this. Only about half done in the pic. Got everything covered and a 2nd layer on parts
Put the stock stuff back on too

Then I moved on to the doors
Used Reflectix to coat the inside of the doors and the back of the door panels
Then unfaced denim insulation to fill the door cavities. It is a new product I figured I would try. Supposed to be superior sound deading and I didn't like the possibility of fiberglass dust floating around.
Then I put the panels back on. I have all the doors except the drivers one done. Then it is on to the wall cavities, roof and dash.

Then I started to skin my homemade front air dam with some left over sheet metal.
Started like this
Took it off and repainted it with 3 coats to protect it.
Then sandblasted and painted the brackets
Then started bending the sheet metal and bolting it on. Only have the one section done right now. Once finish bending and verify fitment I will paint it flat black as well.
I also went ahead and recoated my grill with PlastiDip
Looks like this
I am also doing a complete kitchen remodel, but I wont bore you with those pics.

Well I took my bed off and cleaned out my fuel tanks (shower heads disintegrated) installed new pick up hoses I can actually get to use a whole tank now
Bought my son an 84 F250 4x4 6.9 idi reg cab I call it Fred since it has holes in the floor boards. Both doors are in bad shape so I took the ones off the donor truck and put them on his. He doesn't like the stack so plan to get that out some time in the near future. But think I got a good deal. original mile are 99,840 was a farm truck until this year. It runs great paid $1200.00 had to drive up past Peru to get it. (stack is very annoying after listing to it for 2-3hrs on the drive home.

Done: Stretched and moved the wheel openings forward...new tool box doors and there ya have it.
Crew frame is finally back in the barn and have the Cummins dangling there. Have to refab engine mounts and front X member.
I picked up about 145 sheets of 1/4 plate 4'x4'. Selling cheap if you need some. Pretty clean and minimal rust.
