How NOT to load a truck on a trailer.

Came across this video and had to share, even though it's pre 6.7. I apologize if it's been posted before. Might cheer you up if you're having a bad day.

I remember this one. On the bright side they ended up with an awesome flatbed.

I'm either just as dumb, or, it's so dumb I don't get it.

What happened?

Truck hit the trailer going too fast and launched it forward. While moving forward, base of ramp toward the rear of trailer caught the concrete and planted causing the end of ramp (towards the truck trying to get on to trailer) to move upward causing swear words, expensive repairs and you tube videos.

Ok, I saw that the rig moved forward and the ramps rotated up. I just don't get why the truck moved forward. Oh well, no biggie.

Well obviously it was a 6.0 that was dead and they thought coasting down the hill would make it easier to load. Bet they wish they had used the come-along now!

Driver of the two rig was too busy recording to apply the brakes. He obviously has a slop in that tranny. I don't know though, that was a lot of momentum going forward and down from that truck. A come along or winch would have been so much safer than trying to Dukes of Hazard that truck on the trailer.

I watched some ole boys pull a dead truck up onto a gooseneck like that, just as if they were pulling it on flat ground. Driver of dead truck steers it on the trailer, pull truck just rolls parallel to the trailer.

No sarcasm, it didn't look sketchy at all. Given the room around those guys with which to work, I'd have opted for just about any other method, lol.

Love me some Duke Boys

I liked that part too. Now you can go get both the check book and Master Card. You are going to need both to fix this stupid mess. Dopes with money.
