Firewall cover question

The beat up original firewall cover in my 72 needs replacing. How difficult is it to replace? Is it something a geezer with average mechanical skills and a bad back could do, what's involved?

Thanks for any helpful suggestions.

I don't think you can find an OEM replacement type.

I believed now days their just a padded 1/8" plastic type of poly material.

I sure would not want to try replacing it unless you've got the cab gutted.

Or cut the upper part off and just install the lower part that can be seen.

Ha from one old fart to another with 3 failed back surgery's forget it.
Do what you can to just look good.
