Heavy tow was useless from Dyno Proven? That's strange, mine is almost as powerful as the hot tune.

Thanks for the info Nick. Definitely helps "inform my decision." I'll prob have to put my chip purchase off another month or so though. My wife is getting annoyed at the last few months of high credit truck-induced card bills!

yep useless. I think that will be the tune that never gets used. Getting on the highway, foot to the floor the max egt was 800.

it could be my map sensor too. It just comes on very strong while the boost is building. It's not really a problem I'll just have to be cautious with whose behind me if it's below 2k and how much throttle I give it.

You can derail my threads anytime with pics like that lol. I'll see what I can do about vids. I've got a lot to do on the barn. I would have liked to have gotten some on this trip but with the conditions we were all pretty focussed on where we were going.

I found a pic of the cabin. Nothing fancy, it's a small 2 bedroom waterfront place with good fishing

That's the way my pickup is Aaron, looks good in a picture but when you get up close you see all the blemishes.

800° EGT seems way low to me. I don't know what you've done to the truck though. Unfortunately over the years of being on this site, I've heard the smoky stage 2 comments quite often.

Nick it sounds like you had my dream vacation, lol.
