Morning Scott and Pat.

Sounds like you have your hands full, Pat. Best wishes man.

68 lbs of meat is quite a bit but when you feed 220 folks with it...suddenly doesn't seem that much. Gonna have your hands full with the weather though.

Plus approximately 60lbs of beef. I'm making pit beef out of it.

Nice. Sounds like a full menu then.

Looks like some at least semi-promising news in the email this morning, so I've got that to address today...

Would be going back into "plant life" in the concrete business again, but if I can get away with wearing jeans to work every day, I'm good with that. Company's about 20 miles west of here too, a definite plus.

The only downside is they are calling for single digits and wind in the morning.
Yeah, that sucks. I grill outside all winter, that really makes it tough to do.

Thanks Bill. Luckily, my brothers and I can keep him company in relays, when my stepmonster isn't up at the hospital.

As long as it pays and its steady... that's the big selling point.

Pat, I have a canopy on my deck that the cover has seen better days (cheap cover material) so I'm going to wrap most of that in plastic. That will help break the wind and maintain temps.

You've got that right, Scott. It's a direct hire position but it's being secured through a recruiter. The minute he named the town, I know exactly the company he's talking about...and they have a good rep and pretty steady workload with the PADOT folks.

Smoker might actually warm that up a little, too, Scott, with it wrapped like that.

As long as I stay sober enough to put the food in the trays, then all is good!!!
