Morning Oregon peepers
The 390 IS da-bomb for V-6s........IF you have the cam, porting, and exhaust, to utilize the CFM (which I barely do) Otherwise you are drowning a small V-6 in unusable flow..........I am treading in territory few care to deal with anymore.

Here's one for Don!!!

if you've never heard a built flattie, here's a good sound clip!

Note it takes the 6-71 longer to spool down than the entire run!

Yes, re-maned. olley gets carbs back on warranty and redoes them and and sells them as re-mans. But they are warrantied. and 1/2 the cost!

I knew a guy who had a bad experience with 2 Holley re-mans in a row, so I was hesitant about going that route.
I should be ready to fire it up in a few hours and see how good (or not good) I am.

Thinking about one of these for my genset
http://www.ebay.com/itm/161373084804?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITGoes betwen the air cleaner and the carb.
Makes the genset multifuel.
Just paid $80 for a new carb AGAIN for this genset. Me thinks I'll put the new carb on, and NEVER put gas in it,unless I run out of propane

That looks just like one I had a guy give me last summer. Said he couldn't get it to run. I replaced a bent exhaust valve and it works great now. I'm looking at a 15K diesel set for the shop...

Those are great. you can pair them, and run more and more things.
I want to rn a rooftop A/C, and charge some batteries. Maybe some heat in the winter.
