Good Morning Everybody!

I'm gonna deliver that pick up this morning and then squeeze the Acura in to do a little tinkering and cleaning, then the red truck comes in so it can donate it's engine to the cause.

That's an odd thing to have happen. I would check those yokes very closely.

Yes I am schooling myself with axle tech 101 right now. Sounds like C clips can cause issues, where as full circle clips sound like a better design.

Also found out that a F150 D44 stub and short shaft will work on a 66-77 D44 Bronco. But you have to get the long side shortened. Glad I have that axle setting around....but it is my long side that is bad.

It's a good thing I didn't ask about room service.

I'm going to be better off with Ka'Bluey, he's exempt to most everything except the basics, brakes, lights, suspension due to his age.
Finally, an older guy gets a break

Mornen everybody

RC. No, the red truck is staying around now. That's going to be Earthquake IV next year. I plan on picking away at the body work as I have time this summer while it's still close to the ground and easy to work on. Then build the new chassis over the winter and put everything together. I should be picking up the 5 ton axles soon. I have a few people interested in the '73, but are waiting for income tax money. First one here with the money, wins.

I guess I need to pile up all the "Big Ford buggy" parts on the trailer, drive down and block your bay (lol) and drop off everything huh? Since you have so much time on you hands.

I don't know about that, Rich. I thought my afternoon was going to be free. Now I have to rush to get a fender painted on a Ford truck. Hopefully it won't be a pain in the rear bumper.

The nice thing is that since I don't have to stand up and teach class any longer, I can hide in my office and work without much problem when my lungs are acting up.

Evening All!

Dave. Good you can hide away from everyone now.

I got the truck in. It turns out the bumper cover was scuffed up as well, so I'm going to paint that, too. I was about to do a final sand and load the gun with color when a customer pulled up with a water pump trying to fly off the front of his engine. The water pump is done, but the paint will have to wait until I get back from the VA tomorrow.

Alan, our country owes you for your service, be it medical care or more, you deserve it. I wish I was smart enough to help you with it. Good luck.
