After 20~ attempts I still don't have the "virtual pilot" thing going (have the vehicle face you and fly) need more practice and that requires batteries. I went to Hobby Town this AM they don't have batteries for this unit and told me the batteries are only available online.
I own 3 quads and one 6 fan....one is 1.5 inch micro and the biggest is 2.5 feet...not the real pricy ones but a blast to fly all of them...with the littlest .....damn hard if not impossible to fly a course with .
What is it with all these amateur videos adding sound tracks? Good gravy if they were GOOD backing tracks that would be one thing---I've yet to hear anything paired up that doesn't detract from the video myself---and I'm a long, long time YouTube viewer!

Vimeo licenses all music and this was a selection, sorry.
The DJI Phantom 2 vision + is a great copter. My dad has it and it works really really well. One of the greatest parts to it is that it is GPS driven. You can on your phone put dots on a map and it will fly its self to each one. In high winds it will keep it self in the same spot. If controler contact is lost the copter will go up 60 ft and then return to the home starting point. the range is something like 1/4 or 1/2 a mile and with the gimble the video quality is crazy great.
