I just picked up my 2007 KR crew. A few questions...

I think he means the search didn't work because the site blocked the name.
My parts are clean because it came from a dealership where they do it on purpose to sell. It was a Montana truck originally.
I think I'm going to try that stuff I posted and see if it works. Just need to get the color pattern of my truck interior.
Thanks guys.

Mike,
I got the message and it looks simple. Serious redneck accent but the stuff looks like it might just work. Thanks!
Today, I changed the rear diff oil and the transfer case fluid both with Royal Purple synthetic. I'll do the front tomorrow and swap out the fuel filter as well. I changed all the exterior light bulbs today as well since some were going out and 2 were out already. I went brighter white because I need to see with all these antelope running across the roads at night. My transfer case had 1 gallon of fluid in it!!!! I don't know how. The fill plug was never removed and it looks like the last owner took the 4x4 actuator solenoid off to fill it up that high. I guess more is better in some minds.

Try this. http://www.aussiesaddle.com/<wbr>Products/Saddle/maintenance_<wbr>products.html I use it and think it is the best. It will take you a couple of hours to apply, but the results are phenomenal. For routine conditioning, I use a CRC product called "Tannery Leather Conditioner" (not the cleaner / conditioner). It is an aerosol that you just spray on and buff off. Smells like new leather too.

A friend has the same truck. His leather looks just like yours. I would never try to 'dye' it if I were you. You really have to be careful what you put on it because its an uncoated natural leather and it will darken with most treatments. I know of one thing I would use on it. It will darken it, but only temporarily. Its Obenauf's Leather Care. I would use the liquid on that leather. I use this product on old dry military leather gear that I do not want to darken.
You can see that this holster has not been darkened permanently and I can tell you that Obenauf's saved it because it had started to dry and crack. It also does not cause deterioration of stitching.
Whatever you decide to use, make sure of what will happen when you put it on that leather by trying it on a small sample out of sight before doing the whole job.

sidebar; digging into this further i can get the sound to go away when putting the truck in 4wd.. looks like i have IWE/vacuum issues based on what i read. sounds like its pretty common with these trucks, so put that on your things to look out for list.

Well, that's good to know. The dealership I picked it up from said a code indicated to them that it was the manifold. I don't know if it's really that way or not but for now, it gives me justification to mod so the wife feels secure driving it
I saw the IWE sticky and looked at my vac switch under the hood. Guess I need to read it all.
Thanks
