these trucks are too nice ... i wanna see the was-running-when-parked rust-buckets with cracked windshields and empty oil jugs in the cab that the seller has priced at $1500 FIRM.

That '97 CCLB is at least in the ball park. With a manual, it would fetch $9-10K 'round here. The rest are .

This thread reminds me of one I started years ago on the Saturn forum, for "bonehead Saturn craigslist finds". Anything from idiots not knowing even what make/model of vehicle they're selling, to god-awful descriptions, to insane asking prices, to stoooopid pics that are sideways, upside down, cut off half the subject, camera and car not in the same ZIP code, photographer's looong shadow in the pic, etc. Thread has thousands of posts now, and pushing a million views. World def. has an inexhaustible supply of stooopid (what's with that dude posing in front of the yellow '65? ); I'm sure this thread will never run out of material.

^^^^^ Some PSD owners have found THEIR OWN pics of THEIR OWN trucks in craigslist ads for their truck for sale. Pics they've posted to forums like this. Not even the same part of the country. Takeaway lesson - if you have posted pics of your truck to forums, etc. that look like they could be used in a craigslist ad, before posting them, put a "NOT FOR SALE" watermark across the body of the truck.

I'm sorry but there is not a chance you'd see me spending anythingn over $5k for a near 20 year old truck with 250k+ miles on it. Those people are just crazy. $17k for a 240k miles plow truck? I don't think so.

That dude needs to learn some marketing. It wasn't "rolled", it has had "aftermarket Raptor body kit installed".

Now believe it or not those 70s fords aren't bad priced around here. I can't believe what people pay for these 70s fords. This is just my opinion but the 70s don't look all that great.

I make it a habit to stay away from people who can't spell or make a cognitive sentence when selling a vehicle. At least he took a bunch of pictures.
