1994 1/2 F350 crew cab blows instruments fuse
My '94 1/2 F350 crew cab is blowing the instrument / diesel fuse. Starts and runs fine, just don't have any instruments or diesel indicator lamps other than speedometer, which is on a different fuse.
I'm looking for advice on how to trace down the short or whatever is causing this.

It came to me, that my buddy had a similar problem in his 6.9. I think it ended up being the turn signal switch in his steering column. It was a bad ground that was shorting out his ignition switch. Then again, that truck had all sorts of weird problems. It was always blowing out his 4 way fuse, no matter how big or small a fuse we used.
