I have the EBC Hawk green towing brake pads and rotors. One of those, been a year since I put them on. Don't remember exactly what I did but it was expensive and it was what everyone else was putting on at the time. The rotors are drilled if that helps identify them... Everything came from Summit IIRC.

It's a shame that this one doesn't have leather. It does appear to be extremely clean and straight.

2002 FORD EXCURSION 4X4 , 1 OWNER LOW MILES

If you really like the red one near you, you could always get a mobile mechanic to meet you there. Better to pay him and hour or two than to possibly miss something expensive to repair.

Marty- That looks like a decent rig. Low miles, decent cost, 02+ and a front bench seat.

What do you guys think of the red one... I know I was only half thinking about it but I think I can get it for $3500 and swap my parts over to it and sell mine off for $3500 and break even... I have the SCT tuner and the ELM unit and another code reader I can take and pull codes/CELs with as well. Might be a good deal...

For $3500.00, go check it out. So far it only needs door lock actuators, the overhead AC/Heat controls, and the front bumper trim. Keep us posted!

Not really....

Door lock actuators: I've rebuilt all 4 of mine with the Tech folder on here

A/C controls: swap them from mine

Front end: entire 05+ from mine will go on whatever rig I buy

I'll be keeping my wheels and tires off of mine plus a few other things like the SCT programer that will make it easier for me to sell mine for a lot less.

Honestly, I would hold out and keep looking for a nice later model with lower mileage that doesn't need much parts swapping to be good to go. Sure it will be more that $3500 but it'll be a better starting point for a lifetime vehicle. Just my $.02

I agree... the only thing is once you start getting into more expensive rigs the price starts overlapping You start at cheap 6.8's and then you start hitting high end ones and mid priced diesels at the same price. Then we end up back at the gas VS. diesel debate...

See you start with the "gamble truck" on the left and then go to the "Henry Fords wet dream" on the right. at some point is my truck, but if I start with a $6500 truck I might get lucky and be buying a $10k truck but I could also be buying a dressed up $3500 truck that needs tons of work. If I go with the gamble truck at least I'm not in for much and will have extra cash for repairs.... Just thinking
