Now we're talking! Wife came back from MA where daughter was having baby and on the way home NH has this great program where you have to pass through the liquor store to get home. Picked up some good Scotch and Irish whiskey to help pass the cold winter nights.

There you go! I need some Jameson, and maybe pick up a jar of Cherry moonshine, just to make things interesting. Oh, and some Fireball. Can't forget the Fireball.

A bottle of 12 year old Jameson and a bottle of Red Breast Irish came home along with a bottle of 14 year old Oban Scotch. Should be good until next weekend!

Never heard of Red Breast, good stuff I take it? I should probably get some Baileys, also. For the wifes Christmas morning coffee!

I hadn't tried Red Breast until about a year ago. I think it is excellent. See if you can find a bottle and try it out. I think you'd be pleased.

I'll have to do that. We have a place here called Brix, that carries just about every kind of booze/wine/beer on the planet, I'll see if they carry it.

We are going to be all rain. but you guy's up north may be in for a suprise, good thing you got all the liquor enjoy it, still trying to find something to mix with eggnog. Did the brandy, scotch, I'm on whiskey now seagrams 7, Thats always been my favorite anyway 7&7 with a shot of 7. The usual my friends call it and it does taste pretty good with eggnog, I did it for thanksgiving and was loaded before dinner, any suggestions?

Well, there are a couple of things I mentioned, David. Different flavors of moonshine, maybe some Fireball Whiskey.

I used to make eggnog at my old company. Had a 20 gallon cream can and made it in big batches at least 4-5 days before the party to let it mellow and blend. Here's the recipe:

4 gallons heavy cream
4 gallons whole milk
2 5ths of good bourbon
2 5th good dark rum
2 5th good brandy
fresh grated nutmeg
sugar to taste

Not for the faint hearted but it always got good reviews.

Of course I worked for a dairy company at the time and had access to bulk cream and really good Jersey whole milk.

Happy nogging.

That sounds real good Shawn, running out of time I will get the ingredients tonight. I don't dare go out this weekend. The crazies will be everywhere.
