what do you think? The main reason for me posting is numberdummy has stated that for did not make any f350 or larger 4x4 untill sometime in the late 70's I thought it was 79, the instruction tag sure looks to be ford stuff

That would make a good private road plow truck with a sander lashed down on the back. And in the summer it could haul firewood logs. I agree the price is pretty good and the owner wrote a good description.

So the add says it's a '79. It is older than that isn't it? I don't know my 70's fords too well. I bet you would find that flatbed alone would list for more than the entire vehicle. You bet it is well priced. What a cool beast!

The dashes in the larger 73-79 trucks used the same dash as the 67-72 ford trucks

I went to the local Ford dealer with a buddy of mine in 1976. While he was getting some parts I was looking at truck a brochure and noticed an F600 4x4 cab and chassis in it. I asked the salesman how much one of those cost and he didn't even know that Ford even offered a 4x4 larger than 3/4 ton. He looked it up and told me the price, which I don't remember, but he did tell me that he wished he had known earlier that week that Ford offered them because he missed a sale to a fellow that bought a Chevy because he needed a 4x4 larger than 3/4 ton.
