Nice work, but I have to ask, Where did you get the big poster of the 55 on the garage wall? I want one!

Thanks for the compliments guys, I am really enjoying diving into this project.

Kurt, the emblem was on the truck when I got it, anybody have any ideas what it could be from? I have grown to like it so it will be staying on the truck for a while .

The canvas sign was a fathers day gift from my very thoughtful wife. She had it made at our local sign shop and incorporated the "Cheers" emblem with our last name Ziehr
(pronounced Zeer). Creative lady

She forgot to put your hood emblem in the sign Bud.
That would really personalize it for ya. Prolly get ya
a black eye if ya mention it to her now though.

New cover

Cleaned up an old engine I found

new driveshaft

First time it has been out of the garage in 5 years!

Well it's been a couple years so I thought I would add some updated pictures. Getting close to having it on the road, hopefully this year!

Well I am tickled.
5 years almost to the day since I brought her home and she finally passed inspection and is registered for the road!
20 more years and I might have her finished

Hey Ziehr,
I agree...your truck is stunning! I love that 2 tone weathered look.
What is the hood ornament off of? What are you thinking for next steps?

Looking good up there in Canada!
