buying a new truck, have a question

I am going to order a new F250 shortly and have a question. Am I better off trying to talk them down on price or since we have the X plan through my job should I just go that route? Close as I can figure the X plan will get me around three grand off. When I bought my 01 F250 I was able to get them down about four grand.
Thanks, Barry

Find one on the lot somewhere and you should be able to get it for at least $10K off sticker, if not then you are dealing with the wrong dealership.

I just used X plan for my 2015. MSRP was 53k X was 49k minus 4k in rebates equals 45k so 8k lower than sticker using X plan and incentives. I don't like negotiating so it was an easy decision for me.

Took delivery of a 2015 last night. My deal ended up $1500 under x-plan. Then all rebates were applied.

My dealer was clear that they wanted to move the truck on the lot and not order something out.

My truck was a mid-level Lariet. Nicely optioned but not a KR or Platinum. I feel that with more options, the dealership has more room to move around with price. An XL, maybe not so much.

I've discovered that as well. More options equal better price in the end.

What trim level? A crew 4x4 diesel lariat should be $10k under msrp. A gasser reg cab xl has much less markup....
