Kevin,
Hopefully your "3" theory is correct and you've got nothing but good things coming your way. Try to enjoy the holidays and mend. Like all the others I wish you a speedy and complete recovery.

Not a problem! Health before wealth

I wish I'd have known you were on a turn and burn thru my neck of the woods. Must have been a REALLY nice truck. If you ever go hunting west of St Louis again I'd be willing to help. Got an extra bedroom and I'm sure I'd be of some help

Sorry to hear about your problems. Hope your bad luck has run it's course and you will be free of bad luck forever. Keep thinking about your project and you may come up with some better ideas. Good luck in the future.

Kevin, sorry to hear about your bad luck! I hope it heals well and you have no problems with it. In high school, many years ago, I broke the Fibula in my left leg, and two bones in my ankle. Tore ligaments and my foot was pointing 90 degrees to the left. The gym coach wanted to take my foot and put it back into place, he thought it was just dislocated! I rode in the back of the principals car 12 miles to the hospital with my right foot against one door and my hands back over my head on the other door while holding my left leg up. Meanwhile he is telling me all about his new full sized pontiac. The school was small with only 40 in the entire senior class. The doctor set it well and I have never had a problem with it since. I had a cast up to the top of my thigh for a month and then below the knee for the second month. Three days after I got out of the cast I ran in a cross country and came in second. A lot easier to heal when you are 18!
Good luck with yours!

Tough luck on the break, but like you say it could always be worse.

I took a concrete dive off the back of my F250 two weeks ago. Landed flat on my back. So that didn't feel so special. But, I landed on the very edge of the dock. Literally inches away from falling in the gap between the pier and a 700' cargo ship. That would have magnified the suck exponentially. Something extra to be thankful for this year...

Hope you get to feeling better.
