Actually I had the boot on when I located everything.it should just clear.
It'll be close but should be OK....I think
Prob not much will get done until Saturday. tonight it'll be too cold to get the temp up in the shop . maybe Friday.

I'm just curious, couldn't you just angle the compressor wheel housing to bring that angle down and not have to adjust the placement at all?

I think they're referring to the inlet boot being tight over the top of the CCV doghouse. The CC goes on top of the two open holes in the valve cover and sticks up a good inch and a half, making it tough to get the clearance needed for the 5" intake boot to go on that massive race cover.

I know what you're saying about angling the outlet down, but I think you will run smack into the driver side intake plenum if you do that. The only way I could see that working is if you were to angle the turbo so that the outlet would actually go UNDER the intake plenum and come out in between the heads (kind of down where the mechanical fuel pump would have been. I don't think you gain a lot by doing that either. The way he has it here is about the only way I have seen this done with the type of setup he's building.

Wow, that's crazy! I'm kind of lost though, which turbo is this?
