I would like to have 285s as well but am not sure what space will be required. I'll measure my rims back to back and post it in a bit. Gotta pick up my daughter from a play date!

I bought some arrowcraft spacers for between the rear wheels. There is not even enough to get the wheels together off the truck. Them wheels are narrow and them tires pooch out!!!

I have the drw axle from the grenade. That way I'm dooIie like if ford had built it but then the spacers to get the wide meats apart.

Great news from yesterday. All bed parts were taken to my body buddies shop. He came and got it all with a Pontiac Aztec. The bed is on a trailer so we stacked it all in and off he went lol. I was a bit distracted at that moment to get a pic. More on that in the grenade thread.

Ahh. Do the tires and wheels fit in the rear fender?

I am looking at buying 6 new tires and am concerned that they will be really small under ge truck. Currently I think 265s barely fit.

I have arrowcraft front adapters. I will find some for the rear. The spacer bolts one wheel on correct?

yea the inner wheel goes on then spacer bolts on then outer wheel to the spacer.
I don't know how far out of the fender it will wind up honestly. I have tried to study that in pics but haven't been able to find any real clear pics to know. When it goes together I guess we will see then.
Also. I have the 3" rsk but my OE springs are so sagged I think I'm only 1.5 over the factory ride height. I had 285 on it stock when I got it from my buddy. The front bumper was spaced 1/2" forward.

My fenders are in primer. Maybe I'll tape them on the truck and try to measure to the wheels and see what it'll take.

Wait. Your "body guy" drives an Asstech (in my opinion the ugliest car ever built)? That don't bode well...

His wife had it before they got married. I agree on it being ugly and a pile
