I just saw the information on your truckstock 2015. I live not too far from Falls Creek Falls and I was hoping to come bay see some of the trucks. Is that posiable? If so is One day better then the other?
Wife's family reunion is the 19th, I knew there was something I was forgetting. I don't know if there is a list for helpers along the way, but I am a small distance off of I-35 in south central Ohio, if someone is passing in this direction and needs assistance I would be glad to help. Let me know. I'm usually late to the party , so this may have already been discussed. Have a safe trip.
Joe , entering the park from the west would be the route with the least amount of hills & would be easier with the trailer ?
Denny, are you coming up I-75? At Chattanooga you could take exit 4 and follow TN 153 to US 27N to TN 111. There is a pretty big hill once you get on to 111. Another option would be to take I-24 towards Nashville to exit 155 (about 30 miles) and take TN 28 north to Dunlap and then take 111 to the park. You will still be climbing up the plateau on 111 but it's a more gentle grade there.
What ever way you go Do NOT take US 127N from Chattanooga to Dunlap.
Anyone thinking of going to Fall Creek , That would like a cabin , let me know . I will be doubling up with Ross so my cabin will be available when I cancel . It is number 322 landside .

I was just checking the park website, of course there are no other cabins available in the park and it looks like the campsites are all gone (at least online) and maybe a room or 2 at the Inn left. If anybody else is interested, I would urge them to contact DR Smith to see if you can arrange to take over his reservation before he cancels.

FYI, the daily rate for the cabins went up $35 a day this year, Dave's is locked in at the old rate so if you can make a deal before he cancels you can save a bunch.
