what do u guys think of new ecoboost

Sorry Dude, to be clear - its a double overhead cam engine. When the timing chain let go - it drove the valves into the pistons, pounded the connecting rods and broke the block. I was traveling at 110Km /hr on the highway, just cruising along, not under any acceleration, and almost in the middle of nowhere - going to pickup my daughter at University for the Christmas Break (this was NOT a pleasant experience). Had to pay for a $300 tow to get it to my dealer and 4 more hours gone.
I wasn't lucky enough to save the block and had to source the used engine and paid $5 k + the install $3k by the dealer including the taxes.....all this before Christmas..
...
If Ford is listening, I would appreciate if you would take me on my offer, which I think is very fair . Otherwise, at the very least come clean with the issue and protect your future buyers.
Best wishes to everyone in the Forum and hope 2015 is a great year for everyone.

Let me see how I can assist. Please send me a private message with your full name, phone number, VIN, and dealer; I'll see how to proceed.

2016 F-150 3.5 Ecoboost rattling
Does anyone know about a rattling sound similar to the sound of an exhaust pipe dragging the ground. My truck has only 24,000 miles and this sound only occurs when the engine is at a low rpm and somewhat lugging. When this sound begins, I can let off the gas, then accelerate and the noise goes away.
