OK I got a new MC to replace one that went bad. the front port is fine the rear one is huge compared to the original one. I found out from Napa that the port in the MC is Metric 18 with 1.5 inverted flare threads. The brake line is a 1/4 inch pipe.......I looked all over for an adapter, I couldn't find one. Does anyone know where I can get one or if someone found a work around please let me know.......I really need this truck up and running.

 

If NAPA can't fix you up, take it back and buy some where else.

 

There is an adapter piece on all the MCs i have seen. You could grab it from a parts truck perhaps. You can see it in the pics on this thread. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ost-setup.html

 

You got the wrong one, you have to get the one for the GVWR of your truck.

 

OK I am an idiot......on my old MC there was an adapter but it was covered by so much build up it looked like it was all cast with the MC.....Cleaned it up and it fit perfectly.......Sorry still kind of a noob to the IDI's....Thanks for all the help......Back to my adventure.....
