Don Bunn's book shows '52 to be the lowest production of any year from '48 thru modern times, at 124,819 units. No breakdown on which light-duty models (F-1 thru F-3) that included or engine/trans fitment. My personal guess would be 2/3 were V8's, 1/3 were 6's, just based on what I've seen remaining.

Standard Catalog of Light Duty Ford Trucks 1905-2002 / krause.com / ISBN: 0-87349-411-3
Production figures are listed for each individual F1/F2/F3 models, but there are no figures for how many were I-6 or V8.
