Fighting Zika Mosquitos With Tires - The Daily Beast
I'd like more info on this deal -- it looks promising. If possible, I'd set up a couple here to cut down on the blood suckers. Things aren't too bad since they started aggressively spraying, but I'd still set one or two up.

That is an interesting idea. The only flaw I see is collecting the trapped eggs not being done, the traps becoming incubators instead.
The idea to retain pheromones for attracting more mosquitoes is very smart.
I'm curious if the sticky paper couldn't contain some sort of encapsulated poison, when the eggs contacted it they'd die?
On another note I wonder is there a way to eradicate Zika or will it be an on-going program forever after?
