In case people were orbiting mars or something for the last 4 months, right now, the last Allman Brothers Band show - ever - is ongoing at the Beacon.

I wanted so bad to see them the last few years, but no tour came near and the Beacon tickets were selling I hear for the price of a decent motorcycle.

Sirius/XM will have the entire show tomorrow at noon and repeat it a few times on classic vinyl...take the time to listen. Most of you have had the arguably most influential band of all times in every year of your life. It seems weird that the shows I have will be it forever...

Time to pick up the guitar and play...

 

End of an era for sure.

Many old rockers are about to retire or should be. Bob Seger was close by here a few months ago and I wasn't able to see him, I've heard on the radio that he's done touring now.
