Moving the drawer thread so it won't hijack the OP's request:

Thanks!
Still need to swing by Fastenal to get some of the right size bolts/nuts.
Now that I have the L channel and measured out the larger drawer correctly, there are some new measurements:
^^Shows the left drawer at full extension (40" with the slides I used).
Thinking of adding 1.5" flat aluminum strip to the underside of the drawer top rails. Should hang over about 5/8" of an inch. This will let me slip in 1/2" ply and make the tops of the drawers so I can use them to write on, reload clips, whatever.
Thinking if I cut two sections just under 2', I could keep them at the 'back' of the drawer when not in use, then pull one out and make the drawer into a surface.

Progress...and setbacks.
So I have about 2/3rds of the base frame done...but a change to the plans that I didn't account for when cutting left me with a lot of excess, so I'm a few lengths short...so I'm on hold until more frame sections arrive.
So far I've attached the right and center sections of frame, the cross members to those sections, the uprights, and the right (larger) drawer.
Bottom frame laid out...
T nuts through the bottom of the base to anchor the base frame to the base...
Drilled and installed the uprights...then mounted the slides...
Added the L channel and mounted the drawer:
Testing the slides:
...so now I'm waiting on the top drawer frame sections:
...and a few more lengths of QuickFrame and I'll move on to the drawer faces and handles/latches.

Thanks Tom! I'm very excited to wrap it up...now that I'm getting closer it's making me crazy to see it in the garage every day and not be able to finish it until those extra pieces come in.
While I wait for the materials to arrive, I'm going to fab up some drawer faces from corrugated plastic to figure out how I'm going to mount the handles, as well as dry-fit it in the back so I can work out how I'll mount the bottom panel to the floor of the truck.
I'm thinking of using the 4 tie-down points on the floor as well as using the rear seat mounts. The tie-down points should be simple...just get longer bolts of the same size the existing ones are. The seat mount points might be a bit tricky since there is very little clearance between the bottom of the frame and the bottom of the drawers.

Wish I could post photos of today's progress, but the albums won't let me upload or create new albums!
Let's try this:
Lower frame complete, uprights and slides attached...
Top frame pre-assembled...
Full frame attached to the base wood...
Reinforced the 2nd narrow drawer...
Bottom in the narrow drawer...some decent weight in it with the tool box...
Wide (right) drawer...front support added, bottom added...
Side sheeting applied to one side...ran out of rivets though.
Drawer diamond plate with latch inserted...will have to rivet the face to the drawer front though.
I'm doing first aid on a marathon route tomorrow, but should be able to make some additional progress afterwards.
